Product Description
EXTERIOR
The exterior of this trailer is very original, complete and intact. All of the exterior skin is aluminum, but the bottom wraps are steel, but they are still in good condition.
Frame and A-frame. Has surface rust, but appears to be good and solid in all areas.
Compartment doors. Has a compartment door at the rear of the trailer which has the original T lock, but have no key.
Dents, scratches and damage. Has some minor dents and dings but overall the exterior is very nice. This was originally a painted trailer so the small dents could be pulled and filled before it is painted.
Entry doors. Front, has the original entry door, which is in pretty decent shape. Does have a small scratch at the bottom and has plexiglass instead of regular glass in the door. Has the original Bargman brand L-66 lock which is in working condition but the interior handle is broken. No keys, but any good locksmith can make keys for it. Entry door rear. Has the original door which is in decent condition. It also has a scratch at the bottom of the door. Has the original Bargman brand door lock which functions fine but the exterior handle is broke. Both doors will probably need new seals.
Screen doors. Front. Has the original wood sliding screen door which functions find but is showing some wear.
Screen door rear. Has the original wood screen door, which is in pretty decent shape. There is a small rip in the center screen.
Entry steps. Front door is missing the original step. Back door has the original step, which is in working condition.
Front hoist. Has the original front hoist which is in working condition.
Hitch coupler. Has the original hitch coupler which is in working condition and uses a 2 inch ball.
Roof and vents. Roof has no apparent damage, but the roof vents have been removed. The original vents are on the interior of the trailer and all appear to be in good condition.
Exterior lights. Has all 4 of the original beehive style marker lights with glass lenses and chrome bezels. All lenses appear to be in good condition. Has the original Bargman Trail light number one tail lights with glass lenses and stainless steel bezels. Both lenses have cracks in the center, but these could be glued back together because there are no pieces missing. Has the original Bargman license plate light and bracket.
Underbelly. The underbelly is not enclosed, but appears to be in good condition.
Windows, glass, and seals. Has the original Woodlin style pop out windows. Most of the windows are complete with hardware, but the front window has been sealed shut. One of the side windows has plexiglass and is missing the window lever and the rear window is missing the interior garnish. All windows will need new seals.
INTERIOR
The interior of this trailer is mostly original. Has what appears to be the original appliances and original light fixtures.
Cabinet and closet doors. Most are there and original, but some have been removed.
Catches. Has the original hinges and catches.
Countertops. Has the original kitchen countertop with original sink but is missing the base cabinet.
Floor. Floor is solid throughout.
Floor covering. No, has none, just the bare plywood.
Table. No.
Walls. Has the original birch paneling. Most of it is still in pretty good shape, but there is some water damage below a couple of the windows.
RUNNING GEAR
Has the original running gear with the exception of newer tires and wheels. Has a drop axle with leaf spring suspension. I pulled grease caps and bearings have fresh grease. Trailer was towed approximately 700 miles with no issues.
Dry weight. 3524#
Hitch ball height. Approximately 19 inches.
Safety chains. Yes.
Hitch weight. Approximately 425#
Hitch ball size. 2 inch.
Hubcaps. No.
Spare tire. No.
Tire condition. Has ST225-75R 15 radial trailer tires. Tires have good tread and do not show any weather checking.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Has the original electrical system with two Cutler Hammer brand automatic reset circuit breakers. 110 lights and outlets are in working condition. Has most of the original interior light fixtures, but the original shades are missing. Entire electrical system should be checked by a certified expert before use.
Brakes. Does have brakes on trailer, I believe, but are untested.
Plug for exterior lights. No. Will need to have temporary tow lights added in the rear to tow trailer home.
Porch light. No.
LP SYSTEM
Most of the original LP system is missing, but these items should be updated for safety reasons anyway.
Entire LP system and appliances should be checked by a certified expert before use.
Furnace. Has a vintage Duo-Therm brand oil burning furnace, which is untested.
Gas regulator. No.
Range oven. Has vintage AB brand four burner stove with oven below. Looks like maybe some of the oven parts are missing, but I do have a spare range that could be used for parts, if needed.
Refrigerator. Has vintage Marvel brand 110 V refrigerator. We plugged the unit in and it does cool fine.
Water heater. No.
PLUMBING
All of the original plumbing has been removed.
Kitchen sink. Yes. Has the original kitchen sink which is still in pretty decent condition.
Trailer has no bathroom currently, but one could possibly be added.
SPECIAL
These small Vagabond trailers are getting harder and harder to locate. This one being mostly original and in decent shape would be an excellent candidate for complete restoration.
