This camper is being sold on consignment for our customer.
EXTERIOR
The exterior of this trailer is very original, complete and intact. It is built like an airplane with riveted construction for a long life and durability. It can be polished up to a mirror like shine.
Bumper, frame and A-frame. Has minor surface rust but everything looks good and solid in all the areas assessable for inspection. Has aluminum bumper, which is in good shape.
Compartment doors. Has three compartment doors, one for access under the bed, one at the rear for the trunk area and one for the refrigerator vent. All have locks that work and have key.
Dents, scratches and damage. Trailer has several very small dents and dings but nothing major. See photos. Overall the exterior skin is in pretty nice shape. The original clear coat is peeling in areas.
Entry door. Has the original entry door, which is in good shape. There is a very small hole by the lock that has been filled with silicone. Door needs a new seal. Has the original lock which is in working condition and does have keys.
Screen door. Yes, has the original aluminum screen door which is in good condition. Has screen guards on the bottom and top to prevent screen from being pushed out. Entry step. Has the original aluminum entry step which has 2 steps. Step is in working condition but could stand to be lubricated.
Front hoist. Has an electric hoist which is in working condition.
Hitch coupler. Has the original coupler which is in working order. Takes a 2 -5/16 inch ball.
Roof and vents. Has the original aluminum roof with aluminum vents. There are some small dents and dings but no apparent damage.
Exterior lights. All the exterior lights are original. Marker light lenses are faded and one is missing. All exterior lights on the rear of the trailer are in working condition. Most of the marker lights work.
Underbelly. Has the original aluminum underbelly. Most of it is in pretty good condition. The cover under the rear holding tanks has corrosion holes and has had a previous repairs.
Windows. Has the original aluminum windows, there are no cracked, damaged or missing glass. All windows look to be complete with hardware and screens.
INTERIOR
The interior of this vintage Airstream is very original and has been very well-maintained. It was used in the warmer months at a campground as a weekend getaway.
Cabinet and closet doors. Original. Sliding door for bathroom is off the track. Countertops. Has the original countertops, which are in good condition.
Floor. Floor is solid in all areas assessable for inspection.
Floor covering. Has carpet in fair condition.
Table. Yes. Has the original drop-down table which appears to be in good condition. Unit sleeps. Four.
Walls. Has the original aluminum interior walls which have factory laminated vinyl on them. All appear to be in pretty nice condition.
RUNNING GEAR
Has the original running gear with torsion axles. Has surface rust but everything appears to be good and solid. Wheel bearings were inspected and repacked 2 to 3 years ago.
Dry weight. 4690#
Hitch ball height. Approximately 18 inches.
Safety chains. Yes.
Hitch weight. 575#
Hitch ball size. 2 5/16 inch.
Spare tire. Yes.
Tire condition. Has 15 inch tires mounted on aluminum rims. One aluminum wheel has been replaced and does not match the other three. One tire is like new the other three tires have some weather checking and little tread left .
FURNISHINGS
Has the original couch or gaucho in both the front and on the side. Both of these fold into beds
Curtains. Yes, look to be original and still in pretty nice condition.
ELECTRICAL
Has had a 20 amp plug put on the end of the shoreline cord which really should be switched back to a 30 amp plug for using air conditioner. Has the original breaker box with four automatic reset circuit breakers. Entire electrical system should be checked by a certified expert before use.
12 Volt lights. Yes, original and in working condition.
Brakes. Yes, has electric brakes on both axles which are working condition. Breakaway switch. Yes.
Converter. Yes. In working condition condition.
Interior fans. Has an exhaust fan over the stove and one in the bathroom and both are in working condition.
Plug for exterior lights. Yes. Has a seven way plug like most current RV use.
Porch light. Yes and in working condition.
RV battery. Yes.
LP SYSTEM
LP system looks to be complete and intact. Has 30 pound aluminum LP tanks which both do have the new OPD valves. Entire LP system and appliances should be checked by a certified expert before use.
Automatic changeover regulator. Yes.
Furnace. Yes. Has the original Suburban brand gas furnace. Furnace is untested. Also has a Thermax brand catalytic heater. Untested.
Gas bottles. Yes, has two 30 pound aluminum tanks which have had the new OPD valves installed.
Regulator. Yes.
Range oven. Has the original Magic Chef brand range. All four top burners, light fine as well as the oven pilot and main burner.
Refrigerator. Yes. Has the original Dometic gas-electric refrigerator. Refrigerator works fine on electric but customer never used on gas.
Water heater. Yes, has newer Dometic brand 6 gallon water heater, which is approximately three years old. Water heater is in working condition.
PLUMBING
Has the original plumbing system and lines. Water system has been winterized for cold climates. Plumbing system and all appliances should be checked by certified expert before use.
Freshwater tank. Yes.
Kitchen sink. Yes. Has original two bowl stainless steel sink in good condition.
Sewer holding tank. Yes.
Shower. Yes. Has a tub-shower combo.
Toilet. Yes, has a newer Thettford brand RV toilet.
Tub. Yes.
Waste holding tank. Yes.
Water intake valve. Yes.
Water pump. Yes, it runs, but does not pump correctly.
SPECIAL
This vintage Airstream has been well-maintained and has had constant use at a campground on the weekends. There are still a few things that could be done, but it’s pretty much ready to go camping in.
OTHER

MISC.
Air conditioner. Yes, has a rooftop air conditioner with heat strip, which is in working condition.
Awning. Yes. Has high-quality ZipDee brand awnings on both sides.
Microwave. Yes.
Stabilizer jacks. Yes.
TV antenna. Yes. Has a Skyliner brand crank up TV antenna, but the customer indicated that it does not function correctly.
Owners manual. Yes.
Owners paperwork. Yes, has most of the original brochures for equipment. This trailer is being sold on consignment for our customer. It has been represented as honestly and fairly as possible, but the trailer is being sold as is with no warranties.
